Amine liquid purification system
A completedsolution for Amine treatmentincludes: Removal of Heat StableSalts (DE-HSS)、Removal ofSuspended Solids (DE-SS)、Removal of Hydrocarbons (DE-HC) etc.。
A purified Amine can ensure the stable operationand the cost savings。

HEAT STABLE SALTS (HSS)
Organic Amine reagent is usually used to remove H2S and CO2from natural gas and oil industry In the Aminedesulfurization process. Due to the decomposition of the Amine solvent, trapscontaminates and particles from the raw material, etc, these negative ions arecontinuously accumulated in the Amine, which forms the HHS. These negative ionsin the Amine cannot be removed by steam stripping at high temperatures (120 ℃) and therefore it isdefined as HSS (heat stable salts), such as:Cl-,SO42-, HCOO-, CH3COO-, C2O42-, SCN- , S2O32-ions etc..
Procautions of the HSS
Based on the research and operational experience in China, the concentration of HSS needs to be controlled to below 1%wt. Continued accumulation of HSS over this level results in many issues.
